Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, start by heading south on State Highway 60 from Tasman. Continue on this route for approximately 22 kilometers until you reach Nelson. Once in Nelson, follow the signs to the city center. Take a left onto Hardy Street, and after about 1 kilometer, you will arrive at 400 Hardy Street, Maitai. Look for available parking nearby or along the street.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transport, catch a bus from Tasman to Nelson. The Nelson Bus Service operates routes that connect Tasman to the central Nelson area. Once you arrive at the Nelson bus terminal, you can either walk or take a local bus to Hardy Street. Walking from the bus terminal to 400 Hardy Street is about a 15-minute walk. Head southwest on Rutherford Street, turn right onto Hardy Street, and continue to your destination.

• Walking

  If you're already in the Nelson area and prefer to walk, you can reach the Centre of New Zealand Access from various points in the city. From the Nelson Cathedral, head north on Trafalgar Street, then turn left onto Hardy Street. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer, and you will find the Centre of New Zealand Access at 400 Hardy Street. This walk is a pleasant way to explore the local area.
