If you are starting from the New Plymouth city center, head east on Brougham Street. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Eliot Street. Walk until you reach the intersection with William Street. Turn left onto William Street and continue walking for about 1 km. Balsom Park will be on your left at 3/7 William Street, Highlands Park.

From the New Plymouth bus station, take the bus route that heads towards Highlands Park. Make sure to check the local bus schedule for the latest information. After approximately 15 minutes, disembark at the stop closest to William Street. From there, walk south on William Street for about 300 meters, and you will find Balsom Park at 3/7 William Street on your right.

If you are cycling, start from the New Plymouth city center and take the coastal walkway heading east. Follow the path until you reach the intersection with Brougham Street. Turn left onto Brougham Street and continue straight. Once you reach the roundabout, take the second exit onto Eliot Street.
