Getting There

    From the center of New Plymouth, head towards the coastal walkway. If you are near the New Plymouth i-SITE at 3 Cutfield Street, start your journey from there. Walk south along the pathway towards the waterfront, enjoying the views of the Tasman Sea. Continue on the coastal walkway until you reach the intersection with Devon Street West.

    At the intersection with Devon Street West, turn left and continue walking along Devon Street. You will pass several shops and cafes on your right. Keep walking for about 700 meters until you reach the intersection with Fillis Street.

    Turn right onto Fillis Street. Pukekura Park will be located at 10 Fillis Street, approximately 200 meters down the road on your left. Look for the entrance that is marked with signs for Pukekura Park.

    If you're near a bus stop, you can take a bus that stops on Devon Street West. Board a bus that goes towards the New Plymouth Central area. Get off at the stop closest to Fillis Street, which is typically the 'Fillis Street' bus stop. From there, walk down Fillis Street for about 200 meters to reach Pukekura Park at 10 Fillis Street.
