If you are driving, head towards Whangarei, the largest city in Northland. From Whangarei, take State Highway 1 heading north. After approximately 30 minutes, turn left onto State Highway 14. Continue on this road for about 20 minutes until you reach the town of Dargaville. Here, turn right onto State Highway 12. Follow State Highway 12 for approximately 30 minutes until you reach a small town called Te Kopuru. From Te Kopuru, you will take a left onto Galbraith Street. Lookout is located at 27 Galbraith Street, which should be on your right after a short drive. There is parking available near the entrance to the walking track.

Once you arrive in Dargaville, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare service to reach Lookout at 27 Galbraith Street, as there are no direct public transport options from Dargaville to Lookout.
