Getting There

    If you are driving from Queenstown, take State Highway 6 towards Cromwell. After approximately 28 km, take the exit for State Highway 8 towards Alexandra. Continue on this road for about 10 km until you reach Bannockburn. Turn onto Felton Road, and the Bannockburn Sluicings Historic Reserve will be on your left at 143 Felton Road. There is no entry fee to access the reserve.

    To reach Bannockburn Sluicings Historic Reserve via public transport, take a bus from Queenstown to Cromwell. The bus ride takes around 45 minutes. Once in Cromwell, you will need to take a taxi to Bannockburn, as there aren't direct bus services to the Sluicings.
