    From Fox Glacier, head south on State Highway 6 towards Haast. Continue on this road for approximately 25 km. You will see a sign for Fantail Falls. Turn left onto the access road, which is well-marked. The car park for Fantail Falls will be on your left after about 1 km. Parking is free.

  • Public Transportation

    Unfortunately, there is no direct public transportation to Fantail Falls. However, you can take a bus from Fox Glacier to Haast. Once in Haast, you may need to arrange for a taxi or a shuttle service to get to the Fantail Falls car park, which is about 20 km away from Haast. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance as services may vary.
