    Car

    If you are traveling by car, start your journey in Dunedin city center. Head southeast on George Street towards Moray Place. Continue onto Princes Street, then take the exit onto State Highway 1 (SH1) heading south. Follow SH1 for approximately 4 kilometers until you reach the exit for Dunedin South. Merge onto Andersons Bay Road and continue straight. After about 1.5 kilometers, turn left onto Silverton Street. Follow Silverton Street which becomes Howard Street, then turn right onto Normanby Road. Continue for about 1 kilometer until you reach Bethune's Gully, located at the end of Normanby Road. Parking is available near the entrance.

    Public Transportation

    To reach Bethune's Gully using public transportation, start at the Dunedin City Centre. You can catch the bus number 1 or 3 from the bus stop on George Street. Make sure to check the current schedule as bus times may vary. Get off at the Normanby stop, which is the closest stop to Bethune's Gully. From the bus stop, walk approximately 700 meters along Normanby Road until you reach the entrance to Bethune's Gully. The total cost for a one-way bus ticket is around NZD 2.50 to NZD 5.00 depending on your travel distance.
