Walking
Start at the Paihia Wharf, which is a central location in Paihia. From the wharf, head southeast towards Marsden Road. Follow Marsden Road until you reach the intersection with Williams Road. Turn left onto Williams Road and continue until you reach the intersection with State Highway 11. Turn right onto State Highway 11 and walk north for about 3.5 kilometers. You will soon see a sign for Kawakawa. Continue walking straight until you reach the town of Kawakawa. The Hundertwasser Public Toilets are located at 62 Gillies Street in Kawakawa, housed in the Nilsson Building.

From Paihia, you can take a bus to Kawakawa. The bus stop is located near the Paihia Wharf. Board the bus heading towards Kawakawa. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Kawakawa, disembark at the main bus stop. From there, walk towards Gillies Street, which is just a short 5-minute walk. The Hundertwasser Public Toilets are located at 62 Gillies Street in the Nilsson Building.
