Walking
Start at the Paihia Information Centre located at 1 Marsden Road. Exit the centre and head southwest on Marsden Road towards the beach. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Williams Road. Turn left onto Williams Road and walk until it meets the main road, State Highway 11. Cross the highway, and continue walking along the footpath. After approximately 30 minutes, you will reach the Kawakawa township. As you enter Kawakawa, keep an eye out for Gillies Street on your left. Turn onto Gillies Street, and the Hundertwasser Public Toilets will be located at Nilsson Building 1990, 62 Gillies Street, on your right.

From Paihia, walk to the nearest bus stop located on Marsden Road, just outside the Paihia Information Centre. Catch the bus heading towards Kawakawa. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Kawakawa, get off at the bus stop near the main street. Walk along the main street until you reach Gillies Street. Turn left onto Gillies Street, and the Hundertwasser Public Toilets will be located at Nilsson Building 1990, 62 Gillies Street.
