Walking
Start your journey from the center of Queenstown at the Queenstown Gardens. Head east towards the waterfront, following the path along Lake Wakatipu. Continue along the lakefront until you reach the end of the park. From there, take the road leading to the base of the Ben Lomond Track. The track begins near the Tiki Trail sign, which is located on Brecon Street. The trail is clearly marked, and the path will lead you directly to Ben Lomond Saddle. The hike is steep and can take approximately 2-3 hours, so ensure you have enough water and snacks.

Public Transport
From the Queenstown city center, you can take the local bus that heads towards the Skyline Gondola. Catch the bus at the bus stop located on Camp Street, near the i-SITE visitor center. Once you arrive at the Skyline Gondola base, you can either take the gondola up to the top or walk the Tiki Trail from the base to the top. If you choose the latter, follow the same path as mentioned earlier. The hike from the gondola station to Ben Lomond Saddle will take about 1 hour.
