Bus
From Rotorua City Centre, walk to the Rotorua Bus Terminal located at 1170 Fenton Street. Catch the Rotorua to Okere Falls bus (check the schedule for timings). The bus will take you towards Okere Falls. Ask the driver to drop you off at the Okere Falls stop, which is close to the Kaituna Cascades. Once you disembark, walk along Okere Falls Road for about 10 minutes until you see the Kaituna Cascades entrance on your left.

Taxi
You can hail a taxi from anywhere in Rotorua. Simply tell the driver you want to go to Kaituna Cascades at 18 Okere Falls Road. The taxi ride should take approximately 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. It is a direct route along State Highway 30, leading into Okere Falls Road.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Rotorua. Start from the city centre and head towards the Redwoods Treewalk. Follow the cycle paths towards the Whakarewarewa Forest and onto State Highway 30. Continue along the highway until you reach the turn-off for Okere Falls Road. Follow Okere Falls Road straight until you reach Kaituna Cascades.

Walking
If you're feeling adventurous and want to walk, start from the Rotorua City Centre and make your way to the Lake Rotorua waterfront. Follow the path along the lake until you reach the intersection with State Highway 30. Turn right onto State Highway 30 and walk towards Okere Falls. It's a scenic but long walk of about 1.5 to 2 hours, so be prepared with water and sun protection.
