Walking
If you are starting from the Rotorua i-SITE Visitor Centre located at 1167 Fenton Street, exit the building and head south on Fenton Street towards Hinemaru Street. Continue straight onto Hinemaru Street, then take a left onto Lakefront Drive. Follow Lakefront Drive for about 1.5 kilometers, and you will arrive at Lakefront Playground, which will be on your right. The playground is easily recognizable with its colorful structures and is adjacent to the beautiful Lake Rotorua.

Public Transport
From the Rotorua i-SITE Visitor Centre, walk to the nearest bus stop, located just outside the i-SITE on Fenton Street. Take bus route 1 or 2 towards the Lakefront area. Make sure to check the local bus schedule for exact timings. After a short ride, disembark at the 'Lakefront' stop. From there, it's a short 5-minute walk along Lakefront Drive to reach Lakefront Playground. The playground will be on your left side as you walk towards the lake.

If you prefer to cycle, you can rent a bike from one of the rental shops near the Rotorua i-SITE. Start by heading south on Fenton Street, then turn left onto Hinemaru Street. After a short ride, turn left onto Lakefront Drive. Continue cycling along Lakefront Drive for about 1.5 kilometers until you see Lakefront Playground on your right. The path is flat and provides beautiful views of Lake Rotorua along the way.
