Walking
If you are starting from the Rotorua Visitor Centre located at 1120 Hinemaru Street, head south on Hinemaru Street towards Tutanekai Street. Continue straight onto Tutanekai Street, which will lead you to the central area of Rotorua. After about 600 meters, turn right onto Queens Drive. Continue walking for approximately 300 meters, and you will see the Entrance to Government Gardens on your left. The entrance is marked and easily accessible.

Public Transport (Bus)
From the Rotorua Bus Station, take any bus heading towards the city center. Most buses will drop you off at the main bus stop on Fenton Street near the city center. Once you get off, head east on Fenton Street and turn left onto Tutanekai Street. Walk straight until you reach Queens Drive, then turn right. The Entrance to Government Gardens will be on your left after about 300 meters.

Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, you can ride from the Rotorua city center. Start at the intersection of Tutanekai Street and Fenton Street, then head east on Tutanekai Street. After about 600 meters, turn right onto Queens Drive. The Entrance to Government Gardens will be on your left after approximately 300 meters. There are bike racks available near the entrance for parking your bike.
