Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from the Rotorua Visitor Centre located at 1120 Hinemaru Street, head south on Hinemaru Street towards Tutanekai Street. Continue straight onto Tutanekai Street, which will lead you to the central area of Rotorua. After about 600 meters, turn right onto Queens Drive. Continue walking for approximately 300 meters, and you will see the Entrance to Government Gardens on your left. The entrance is marked and easily accessible.

From the Rotorua Bus Station, take any bus heading towards the city center. Most buses will drop you off at the main bus stop on Fenton Street near the city center.
