Car
From New Plymouth, head south on State Highway 45 (Surf Highway) for approximately 42 kilometers. Continue straight as you pass through the small towns of Oakura and Okato. Once you reach the junction towards Pungarehu, take a left onto Cape Road. Follow Cape Road for about 8 kilometers until you reach the Cape Egmont Lighthouse located at 377-379 Cape Road, Pungarehu 4685. There is ample parking available near the lighthouse.
