If you're driving from New Plymouth, head southeast on Devon Street East toward the SH3 (State Highway 3). Continue on SH3 for about 45 kilometers, following signs for Hawera. Turn left onto the Egmont Village Road, which leads you to the Egmont National Park area. After approximately 10 kilometers, turn right onto the Ahititi Road, and follow this road until you reach Mount Damper Falls. There is a parking area available for visitors near the start of the walking track.
