Turn left onto Centennial Drive. Follow this road for about 5 kilometers until you reach the Paritutu Rock car park, which will be on your right side. There is no parking fee. The car park is the starting point for the hike up Paritutu Rock.

    To reach Paritutu Rock via public transportation, catch Bus 2 (the 'Spotswood' route) from New Plymouth city center. Make sure to check the current bus schedule on the local transport website or app. Get off at the 'Centennial Drive' stop. From there, walk approximately 1 kilometer along Centennial Drive towards the coast. You will see signs for Paritutu Rock as you approach the car park area. The bus fare is around NZD 2.50 to NZD 5.00, depending on the distance traveled.
