If you're driving from Nelson, head southwest on State Highway 60 towards Māpua. After approximately 20 km, take the exit towards Māpua/Ruby Bay. Continue on Māpua Drive until you reach the intersection with Aranui Road, then turn left. Follow Aranui Road until you reach Mapua Wharf. The ferry terminal is located right at the wharf, and there is parking available nearby. Expect to pay around NZD 2 to NZD 5 per hour for parking.
