From Tasman, head southeast on State Highway 60 towards Nelson. Continue on this highway for approximately 30 minutes. As you approach Nelson, take the exit towards the city center, merging onto Waimea Road. Follow Waimea Road until you reach the intersection with Atawhai Drive. Turn left onto Atawhai Drive, and after about 2 km, you will see Founders Heritage Park on your left at 87 Atawhai Drive. There is parking available on-site.

From Tasman, take the Nelson Bus Service, Route 1, which runs regularly to Nelson. Board the bus at the nearest stop to your location. The journey typically takes around 40-50 minutes, depending on traffic. Get off at the Nelson Central stop and transfer to Route 10 towards Atawhai. After about 15 minutes, disembark at the stop nearest Founders Heritage Park. The park is a short walk from the bus stop, located at 87 Atawhai Drive.
