From the center of Richmond, drive south on State Highway 6 towards Brightwater. After approximately 10 km, turn left onto Aniseed Valley Road. Continue on Aniseed Valley Road for about 8 km until you reach the end of the road where you'll find the parking area for the Whispering Falls Track. Please note that there is no cost for parking.

Public Transportation
Take a bus from Nelson to Richmond. Once in Richmond, transfer to a local bus that goes to Aniseed Valley. It's advisable to check the local bus schedules in advance. After arriving at Aniseed Valley, you will need to walk approximately 2 km from the nearest bus stop to the Whispering Falls Track entrance. Be prepared for a short hike along the track to reach the falls.

Once you arrive at the Whispering Falls Track entrance, the track is a well-marked 2.5 km return walk leading to the falls. The trail is moderate in difficulty, taking around 1 to 1.5 hours to complete. Be sure to wear appropriate footwear and take water with you.
