Once you reach the lake, turn left and follow the path along the shoreline, which will eventually lead you to the scenic Lake Taupo. Continue walking along the lakefront path for about 30 minutes, enjoying the views of the water and surrounding mountains. As you reach the end of the path, you will see Wharewaka Point ahead. Walk up to Stanley Street, and you will find the entrance to Wharewaka Point on your right.
