Walking
If you are in Tauranga city center, start your walk by heading towards The Strand, which is a popular waterfront area. From The Strand, walk southwest along the waterfront until you reach the intersection with Devonport Road. Turn left onto Devonport Road and continue walking until you reach the end of the road. At the end of Devonport Road, turn right onto Maunganui Road. Follow Maunganui Road until you reach the roundabout, then take the second exit onto Mount Drury Lane. Follow this road straight until you arrive at the entrance to Hopukiore (Mount Drury) Reserve.

Public Transport (Bus)
From Tauranga city center, take a bus from the Tauranga Transit Centre. Look for a bus heading towards Mount Maunganui. You can find routes such as the 'Route 2' bus that operates regularly to Mount Maunganui. Inform the driver that you would like to get off at the closest stop to Mount Drury; typically, this would be near Maunganui Road. Once you disembark, walk east towards the beach, then follow the coastal path north until you reach the entrance to Hopukiore (Mount Drury) Reserve.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the many bike rental shops in Tauranga. Start from the city center and cycle towards The Strand, then continue cycling along the waterfront path heading southwest. Follow the signs directing you to Mount Maunganui. Once you reach Maunganui Road, continue cycling straight until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto Mount Drury Lane. Cycle along this road, and you will find the entrance to Hopukiore (Mount Drury) Reserve.
