From the Tauranga city center, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located on Willow Street. Catch the Baybus Route 12 towards Matamata. The bus will take you towards the direction of Matamata. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the stop named 'Okauia Road'. From there, walk along Okauia Road for about 15 minutes until you reach Goodwin Road. Turn left onto Goodwin Road and follow it until you arrive at Wairere Falls.

Rent a bike from one of the bike rental shops in Tauranga. Start your journey from the city center and head east towards the cycle path along the waterfront. Follow the cycle path to the end and merge onto the road leading to State Highway 29. Continue on State Highway 29 for about 15 kilometers. Look for signs directing you to Okauia. Once you reach Okauia, turn onto Goodwin Road and continue straight for another 3 kilometers until you arrive at Wairere Falls.

If you're feeling adventurous, you can walk to Wairere Falls from Tauranga city center. Start by heading towards Cameron Road and walk north until you reach the intersection with State Highway 29. Continue along the highway, following the pedestrian paths provided. After about 10 kilometers of walking, turn onto Okauia Road and follow it until you reach Goodwin Road. Turn left onto Goodwin Road and walk for another 3 kilometers to reach Wairere Falls.
