Walking
From the Timaru city center, start at the corner of Stafford Street and The Terrace. Walk south along Stafford Street for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Strathallan Street. Turn left onto Strathallan Street and continue walking for another 300 meters until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Maori Hill Road. Continue straight for approximately 1 kilometer. You will see the Timaru Lighthouse - Blackett's Lighthouse on your left as you approach Maori Hill. The lighthouse is situated on a hilltop, so you may need to walk up a small incline to reach it.

Public Transport (Bus)
From Timaru city center, head to the nearest bus stop on The Terrace. Board the bus heading towards Maori Hill. The bus ride should take approximately 10-15 minutes. Get off at the stop closest to Maori Hill Road. From there, walk about 500 meters up Maori Hill Road, and you will find Timaru Lighthouse - Blackett's Lighthouse on your left. Be aware of the bus schedule to ensure you catch a return bus back to the city.
