Getting There

  • Car

    If you're driving from Hamilton, head south on State Highway 1 (SH1) for about 30 km until you reach the intersection with State Highway 23 (SH23). Take the exit onto SH23 towards Raglan. Continue on SH23 for about 32 km until you reach Whaingaroa Road. Turn left onto Whaingaroa Road and after about 1.5 km, turn right onto Kawhia Road. Bridal Veil Falls is located approximately 5 km down Kawhia Road on your left. There is a small parking area at the trailhead.

    From Hamilton, you can take a bus to Raglan. Buses such as the 'Hamilton to Raglan' service operate regularly. Once you arrive in Raglan, you can take a taxi or shuttle to Bridal Veil Falls, which is about a 20-minute drive away. Ensure you check the bus schedule in advance as services may vary. The taxi fare from Raglan to the falls will be approximately NZD 40-60.
