Walking
Start from the center of Wanaka, near the Wanaka Tree. Head south on Upton Street towards Lakeside Drive. Turn right onto Lakeside Drive, and continue walking for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with the Mount Aspiring Road. Turn left onto Mount Aspiring Road and continue for another 10 minutes until you reach the bus stop at the junction of Mount Aspiring Road and State Highway 6.

From the bus stop at Mount Aspiring Road and State Highway 6, take the bus towards Queenstown. The bus journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the stop on Frankton Road near Red Oaks Drive. From the bus stop, walk down Red Oaks Drive for about 5 minutes until you reach Unit 3/15 Red Oaks Drive, where Basecamp Adventures Queenstown Climbing Centre is located.

Bike
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike in Wanaka. Start from the Wanaka center and cycle south on Upton Street towards Lakeside Drive. Continue along Lakeside Drive and follow the same route as for walking. Once you reach the intersection with Mount Aspiring Road, turn left and keep cycling until you get to Frankton. Follow Red Oaks Drive to reach Basecamp Adventures, which should take around 40 minutes total.
