    From Wanaka, head to the Wanaka bus stop located at the corner of Ballantyne Road and Ardmore Street. Board the bus heading to Queenstown. The journey will take approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at the Queenstown bus terminal, walk to the nearest bus stop for the Gibbston Valley route. Catch the bus that goes towards Gibbston. Get off at the Gibbston Valley stop, which is close to the Kinross Winery. From there, it's about a 10-minute walk along Gibbston Highway to reach Kinross Winery, located at 2300 Gibbston Highway.

  • Bike

    For an adventurous option, rent a bike from one of the rental shops in Wanaka. Start from the Wanaka lakefront and head south along the lake towards the Wanaka-Mount Aspiring Road. Follow this road until you reach the highway junction. Turn left onto State Highway 6, which will take you towards Queenstown. Continue cycling until you see signs for Gibbston Valley.
