Start at the Wanaka i-SITE located at 103 Ardmore Street. From there, take the Southland bus service towards Cromwell. Make sure to check the bus schedule for departure times. The journey takes about 35-40 minutes. Request the driver to drop you off at the nearest stop to Sarita Orchard on State Highway 6. You may need to walk about 10 minutes along the highway to reach the orchard.

Begin your journey at the Wanaka waterfront. Head east on Ardmore Street, then turn left onto Dungarvon Street. Continue on the bike path that runs along the lake until you reach the intersection with State Highway 6. Follow the highway towards Cromwell. The ride will take approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes, depending on your pace. Sarita Orchard will be on your right side as you approach Cromwell.

Although quite a long distance, if you prefer to walk, start from the Wanaka i-SITE at 103 Ardmore Street. Head east on Ardmore Street, then take the path that leads to the lake. Walk along the lakefront until you reach the intersection with State Highway 6. From there, follow the highway towards Cromwell. It's about a 23 km walk, which will take approximately 5 hours. Sarita Orchard will be located on your right side as you approach Cromwell.
