Getting There

Bus
From central Wanaka, head to the Wanaka i-SITE Visitor Centre located at 103 Ardmore Street. There, you can catch the 'Treble Cone' bus service which operates during the ski season. Ensure you check the bus timetable for departure times. The bus will take you directly to the Treble Cone Ski Area, and the journey takes approximately 30 minutes.

Bike
If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Wanaka. Head west on Ardmore Street, then turn left onto Anderson Road. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Wanaka Mount Aspiring Road. Turn right onto Wanaka Mount Aspiring Road and follow the road for about 11 kilometers. Treble Cone Ski Area will be on your left. The ride will take around 50 minutes, and it's a scenic route!

Walking to Treble Cone is not recommended due to the distance (approximately 11 kilometers) and the lack of pedestrian paths along Wanaka Mount Aspiring Road. However, if you wish to walk, start from the Wanaka i-SITE Visitor Centre and follow the same route as for biking. This will take you about 2.5 hours, so ensure you have plenty of time and are prepared for the journey.
