From Wanaka, drive south on State Highway 6 for approximately 10 kilometers. Turn left onto Mount Aspiring Road and continue for about 15 kilometers until you reach the Glendhu Bay area. From Glendhu Bay, follow the signs to the Princess Rock trailhead located at 37 Emerald Bluffs Lane. There is parking available near the trailhead.

Take a local bus from Wanaka to Glendhu Bay. Check the local bus schedule as it may not be frequent. Once you arrive at Glendhu Bay, you will need to walk approximately 2 kilometers to reach the Princess Rock trailhead at 37 Emerald Bluffs Lane. Look for signage directing you to the trail.
