If you are in central Wellington, head towards the waterfront area. Start at the Wellington Cable Car station located at 280 Lambton Quay. Walk down Lambton Quay towards the waterfront, which should take about 10-15 minutes. Once you reach the waterfront, continue along the promenade towards the north until you see the vibrant sculptures along the Wellington Waterfront. Keep walking until you arrive at the Wellington Writer's Walk, which is located along the waterfront, just past the Te Papa Museum.

From the Wellington Railway Station, take a bus heading towards the waterfront. You can catch the number 1, 2, or 3 bus towards Courtney Place and get off at the stop near Te Papa Museum. From there, walk towards the waterfront area. The Wellington Writer's Walk is just a short stroll from Te Papa, following the promenade along the water's edge.

If you prefer to cycle, you can rent a bike from one of the many bike rental stations around Wellington. Start from the city center and head towards the waterfront along the dedicated cycling paths. Follow the cycle lane along the waterfront promenade, which will lead you directly to the Wellington Writer's Walk. Look for the signs along the path that indicate the route to Te Papa Museum, and the Writer's Walk will be nearby.
