Car
If you are driving from Westport, head south on State Highway 6. Continue for approximately 90 km until you reach the town of Greymouth. From Greymouth, take State Highway 7 towards Kumara Junction. At the junction, turn onto State Highway 73. Continue until you reach the town of Hokitika. From Hokitika, follow signs for State Highway 6 south towards Franz Josef. After about 130 km, you will reach the turnoff for Te Anga Road. Take a left onto Te Anga Road and continue for about 10 km. The entrance to the Mangapohue Natural Bridge car park will be on your right.

If you are using public transportation, first take a bus from Greymouth to Waitomo. The bus service usually requires a change at Te Kuiti. Once you arrive in Waitomo, you will need to arrange a taxi or shuttle service to take you to Mangapohue Natural Bridge. It is approximately a 30-minute drive from Waitomo to the bridge. Make sure to check the bus schedules ahead of time, as services may vary.
