If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Masaya city. Head southeast on Calle 4ta until you reach the intersection with the Masaya-Nindirí road (also known as Carretera a Nindirí). Turn left onto this road and continue for approximately 10 kilometers. You will see signs directing you to Parque Nacional Volcán Masaya. The park entrance will be on your right at NN-222. There is a parking area available for visitors.

For public transportation, you can take a local bus from the central bus station in Masaya. Look for buses heading towards Nindirí or directly to the Parque Nacional Volcán Masaya. The bus fare is typically around 15 to 20 Cordobas (approximately 0.50 USD). Inform the driver or conductor that you want to get off at the national park entrance. The ride should take about 30 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you arrive at the park entrance, there will be a small fee of around 100 Cordobas (about 3.50 USD) for entrance to the park.
