From the center of Masaya, head southeast on Calle 1 until you reach the intersection with Avenida 1. Turn left onto Avenida 1 and continue straight. You will pass by the Masaya Market on your right. After about 1 kilometer, keep an eye out for signs directing you to Catarina. Follow the signs and continue to walk along the main road until you reach Catarina.

Find a tuk-tuk station or flag down a tuk-tuk from the street in Masaya. Tell the driver you want to go to 'Mirador de Catarina.' The ride will take approximately 20-30 minutes. The driver will take you directly to the viewpoint, and you can enjoy the scenery on the way.

From the Masaya bus terminal, take a bus heading to Catarina. The buses are frequent, and the fare is inexpensive. Once you arrive in Catarina, ask the bus driver to drop you off near the 'Mirador de Catarina.' After getting off, it is a short walk to the entrance of the mirador.
