Getting There

Walking
Start from the central park in Masaya, near the Masaya Cathedral. Head south on Calle La Libertad for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Avenida 1. Turn left onto Avenida 1 and continue for approximately 1 kilometer. You will pass local shops and restaurants along the way. After that, take a right onto the road leading to Catarina, which is well-marked. Continue walking for about 3 kilometers along this road. You will notice signs indicating the way to Sendero Los Mangos. Once you arrive at the entrance to Sendero Los Mangos, you will find it on your left.

Public Transport
From the central park in Masaya, walk to the nearest bus station, which is located on Avenida 1. Look for a bus labeled 'Catarina' or 'Catarina-San Juan de Oriente'. The fare is usually very inexpensive. Once on the bus, enjoy the local scenery for about 20 minutes. Get off at the stop for Catarina, which is the last stop. After disembarking, walk towards the main road and follow signs to Sendero Los Mangos, which is approximately 1 kilometer from the bus stop. The path will be clear, and you will see the entrance on your left.
