From the Selva Negra Coffee Estate, head southeast on the main road for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach the town of Matagalpa. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the main road in Matagalpa, then take a left. Follow this road for about 7 kilometers. You will see signs for Santuario Nacional Nicaragüense de la puchaina anaranjada. The sanctuary is located at W3GM+86W, Matagalpa. Make sure to look for the entrance on your right. Parking is available near the entrance.

Public Transportation
From the Selva Negra Coffee Estate, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located near the entrance of the estate. Take a bus heading to Matagalpa, which should cost approximately 20 NIO (Nicaraguan Córdoba). The journey will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Matagalpa, you can take a local taxi or another bus towards the direction of the sanctuary. The taxi fare should be around 100 NIO, while the bus fare will be around 10 NIO. Make sure to tell the driver you are going to Santuario Nacional Nicaragüense de la puchaina anaranjada.
