If you are driving, head towards NC-12 in the direction of Rodanthe. From the center of the Albemarle-Pamlico Peninsula, take NC-32 N towards the intersection with US-64 E. Merge onto US-64 E and continue until you reach the traffic circle. Take the second exit onto NC-12 S. Continue on NC-12 S for approximately 30 miles. The Chicamacomico Life-Saving Station will be on your right at 23645 North Carolina Hwy 12, Rodanthe, NC 27968. There is no admission fee, but be prepared for potential parking fees during peak season.
