Car
If you are driving from downtown Wilmington, take US-74 E (Curbside Rd) towards Wrightsville Beach. Merge onto NC-132 S (College Rd) and follow it for approximately 6 miles. Then, take the exit onto NC-421 S towards Carolina Beach. Continue on NC-421 S for about 10 miles. Once you reach Carolina Beach, turn left onto N Lake Park Blvd. The Federal Point Historic Preservation Society will be on your left at 1121 N Lake Park Blvd, Carolina Beach, NC 28428. There is parking available nearby, but be mindful of any parking regulations.

If you are using public transportation, begin your journey at the Wilmington Transit Center. Board the Wave Transit Route 1 (Wilmington to Carolina Beach). The bus will take you to Carolina Beach. Once you arrive at the Carolina Beach stop, you will need to walk approximately 0.5 miles north on S Lake Park Blvd. Turn right onto N Lake Park Blvd, and continue walking until you reach 1121 N Lake Park Blvd. Be sure to check the Wave Transit schedule for bus times and plan accordingly. A one-way fare is typically around $1.
