Getting There

    If you are driving from downtown Charlotte, start by heading north on I-77. Take exit 13 for I-485 N towards Concord. Continue on I-485 N for approximately 10 miles. Take exit 28 for Old Statesville Rd. Turn left onto Old Statesville Rd. After about 1 mile, Alexandriana Historic Site will be on your right at 9921 Old Statesville Rd, Charlotte, NC 28269. There is free parking available on-site.

    To reach Alexandriana Historic Site via public transportation, start by taking the CATS Light Rail Blue Line from any station in Uptown Charlotte towards I-485/South Blvd. Get off at the I-485/South Blvd station and transfer to the CATS Bus Line 16 (North Tryon) towards the University Area. Stay on the bus for about 25 minutes and get off at the stop closest to Old Statesville Rd. From there, it's a short walk (approximately 15 minutes) to the site located at 9921 Old Statesville Rd.
