Light Rail
If you are near the center of Charlotte, head to the nearest light rail station, which is likely the 'Trade & Tryon' station. Board the Blue Line train heading towards 'I485/South Blvd'. Stay on the train for about 6 stops, approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the 'East/West Blvd' station. Once you exit the station, walk south on East Blvd. for about 0.3 miles until you reach the intersection with S Kings Dr. Turn right on S Kings Dr and walk another 0.2 miles until you see Midtown Park on your left.
Bus
Locate the nearest bus stop and check for buses heading towards 'S Kings Dr'. If you are near the Charlotte Transportation Center, take the bus route 12 (South Blvd) or route 11 (Central Ave) towards 'S Kings Dr'. After about 20 minutes, get off at the stop nearest to '510 S Kings Dr'. From there, it is a short walk to Midtown Park. Just head east on S Kings Dr for a few minutes, and you will reach the park.
Walking
If you are already in the vicinity of Midtown Park, simply walk towards 510 S Kings Dr. Look for major landmarks such as the 'Charlotte Country Club' or 'Briar Creek Greenway' to guide your way. Walk along S Kings Dr, and you will find Midtown Park on your right, just after passing the intersection with E 5th St.
Bike Share
Utilize one of the bike-sharing services available in Charlotte. Find a nearby bike station and rent a bike. Set your GPS to '510 S Kings Dr'. The ride should take around 10-15 minutes, depending on your starting point. Bike south on S Kings Dr, and you will arrive at Midtown Park. There are bike racks available at the park for parking.
