    If you are in downtown Charlotte, head to the nearest light rail station, which is typically the 'Charlotte Transportation Center' located at 300 E Trade St. From there, board the LYNX Blue Line heading towards 'I-485/South Blvd.' Stay on the train for only 3 stops, and get off at '4th Street.' Once you exit the train, walk east on 4th Street for about 5 minutes, and you will arrive at the Mecklenburg Historic District located at 600 E 4th St.

    Find the nearest bus stop in downtown Charlotte. You can use the CATS (Charlotte Area Transit System) website or mobile app to check for routes. Look for bus routes that head toward the '4th St & College St' stop. Once on the bus, ride until you reach '4th St & College St.' After getting off, walk east along 4th Street for approximately 2 blocks, and you will see the Mecklenburg Historic District at 600 E 4th St.
