If you are driving, you will want to start from the main entrance of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. From the visitor center, head towards TN-73 E. Continue on TN-73 E for approximately 10 miles until you reach the junction with US-321 S. Turn left onto US-321 S and follow it for about 5 miles. You will then turn left onto Cades Cove Loop Rd. Continue on this road for about 6 miles, and Tipton Place will be on your right. Look for parking areas along the loop road.
