If you're traveling by car from Boone, NC (a central location in High Country), take US-321 S towards Lenoir. Merge onto US-421 S and continue for about 30 miles. Then, take the exit for NC-54 E toward Chapel Hill. Follow NC-54 E until you reach the intersection with S Columbia St. Turn left onto S Columbia St, and the Ackland Art Museum will be on your right at 101 S Columbia St, Chapel Hill, NC 27599. Parking is available on-site, but be aware that there may be parking fees depending on the time of day.
