If you're driving from the Mountain Region, take US-321 S towards Lenoir. Merge onto I-40 E and continue for approximately 45 miles. Take exit 126 for US-220 S toward Asheboro. Follow US-220 S for about 20 miles until you reach Asheboro. Take the exit for Zoo Parkway (NC-159) and follow the signs to the North Carolina Zoo located at 4401 Zoo Pkwy, Asheboro, NC 27205. Parking is available at the zoo for a fee of around $10.
