If you're already in Nantahala National Forest, head to NC-281. Depending on your starting point, use a GPS navigation app to find the quickest route to NC-281 in Sapphire, NC. Once you reach NC-281, continue driving for approximately 4 miles until you see a small parking area on the right side of the road. This is the parking area for John's Jump Falls.

After parking your vehicle at the designated area on NC-281, prepare for a short hike to reach John's Jump Falls. Follow the marked trail that leads into the woods. The trail is relatively easy and should take about 15-20 minutes to walk. Keep an eye out for trail markers and signs to ensure you're on the right path. Enjoy the scenic views as you approach the falls.
