If you are driving, head to US-1 S from Sandhills. After approximately 20 miles, take the exit toward NC-211 S. Continue on NC-211 S for about 30 miles until you reach Supply. Turn left onto Green Swamp Rd NW. The Green Swamp Preserve will be on your left at 673 Green Swamp Rd NW, Supply, NC 28462. Note that there may be parking fees, so be prepared with cash or a card.

For those using public transportation, take a bus from Sandhills to Wilmington. From Wilmington, you can catch a local bus or taxi to Supply. Once in Supply, you will need to walk or arrange for a rideshare to cover the final 3 miles to Green Swamp Preserve. The preserve is not directly accessible by public transport, so it is advisable to use a rideshare service for the last part of the trip.

If you prefer cycling, you can take NC-211 S from Sandhills, which is the most straightforward route. This ride will be approximately 30 miles, so ensure you're prepared for a longer journey and check the weather conditions. Once you arrive at Supply, continue onto Green Swamp Rd NW to reach the preserve. Always wear a helmet and follow road rules.

Walking to Green Swamp Preserve from nearby areas is an option if you are staying close. However, please note that the preserve is quite remote, and walking from Sandhills directly is not practical due to the distance.
