Take the local bus route that heads towards the Bismarck Airport as this is the closest public transit option to the Bismarck Historical Society. The closest bus stop is located at 5th St and Main Ave. Board the bus number 1 which will take you towards the airport. Stay on the bus for approximately 20 minutes. Disembark at the stop near the Bismarck Airport. From there, you will walk approximately 0.5 miles to 533 Airport Rd. Walk along the Airport Rd towards the East until you reach the Bismarck Historical Society.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local bike rental stations in downtown Bismarck. Start from the State Capitol area and head east on Main Ave towards Airport Rd. After approximately 2 miles, turn left onto Airport Rd. Continue straight for about 1 mile until you reach the Bismarck Historical Society located at 533 Airport Rd. There are bike racks available at the location for you to secure your bike.

For those who wish to walk from the city center of Bismarck, start at the State Capitol building located at 600 E Boulevard Ave. Head east along Boulevard Ave until you reach Main Ave. Turn left onto Main Ave and continue until you reach the intersection with Airport Rd. Turn right onto Airport Rd and walk straight for about 1.5 miles. The Bismarck Historical Society will be on your right at 533 Airport Rd.
