Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car from the central area of Red River Valley, start by getting on I-29 S from Main St. Continue on I-29 S for about 50 miles until you reach the junction with I-94 W. Take exit 1A to merge onto I-94 W toward Bismarck. Stay on I-94 W for approximately 160 miles. Take exit 127 toward Bowman and merge onto Highway 12 W. Follow Highway 12 W for about 25 miles until you reach Bowman, ND. The Open Range sculpture is located near the center of Bowman, so look for signage directing you toward the sculpture park.

• Public Transport

  If you prefer to use public transportation, take a bus from Red River Valley to Bowman. You will need to check local schedules as services may vary. Once you arrive in Bowman, you can either walk (approximately 1 mile) to the sculpture or use a local taxi service, which may cost around $10.
