Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car from anywhere in the Red River Valley, head to I-94 W. Depending on your starting point, you may need to take local roads to reach I-94. Once on I-94 W, continue for approximately 130 miles until you reach exit 24 toward Medora. Take exit 24 and merge onto US-85 S. Continue on US-85 S for about 7 miles, then turn left onto 36th St. Follow 36th St for about 1.5 miles, and you will arrive at the entrance of Sully Creek State Park. Parking is available at the park entrance, which is free of charge.

• Public Transportation

  If you prefer public transportation, you can take a Greyhound bus to Medora. Check Greyhound's schedule for available routes to Medora from major cities in North Dakota. Upon arriving in Medora, you will need to arrange for a taxi or ride-sharing service to reach Sully Creek State Park, which is approximately 3 miles from the bus station. Make sure to confirm the cost of the taxi or ride-sharing service in advance.

• Bicycle

  For the more adventurous traveler, biking to Sully Creek State Park is an option. From Medora, take US-85 S and then turn onto 36th St. The ride is about 3 miles and follows a relatively flat terrain. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow local traffic laws. Ensure your bike is in good condition before the ride.
