Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in the city center, head towards Torgallmenningen square. From there, walk northeast on Torgallmenningen, which will lead you to the intersection with Olav Kyrres gate. Turn left onto Olav Kyrres gate and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Domkirkeplassen. Bergen Cathedral will be right at Domkirkeplassen 1, which is a short walk from Torgallmenningen.

  • Bus

    You can take bus number 2, 3, or 4 from any nearby bus stop in Bergen. Board the bus heading towards the city center ('Sentrum'). Once you reach the stop at 'Kirkegården', exit the bus and walk a short distance to Domkirkeplassen. The cathedral will be visible from the bus stop.

  • Light Rail

    If you are near the Light Rail station, board the Bybanen light rail heading towards the city center. Get off at the 'Bergen Storsenter' stop. From there, it's a 10-minute walk: head south on Strømgaten, turn left onto Rasmus Meyers allé, and then turn right onto Domkirkeplassen. You will find Bergen Cathedral at Domkirkeplassen 1.
