Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from Bryggen, the historic wharf area, exit Bryggen and head towards the main road, Bryggen. Turn right onto Rasmus Meyers allé and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Torgallmenningen, a large square. From there, head left towards the avenue called Vågsallmenningen. Continue straight until you see the large statue of a man in front of the Galleriet shopping center. Take a right turn onto Bredgaten and walk straight until you reach the Domkirkeplassen square, where Bergen Cathedral is located at Domkirkeplassen 1.

• Bus

  If you are near the Bergen Bus Station (Bergen Busstasjon), take bus number 3 or 4 towards Fyllingsdalen or Nesttun. Get off at the stop called 'Domkirken'. From the bus stop, walk straight ahead for about 2 minutes. You will see the cathedral directly ahead at Domkirkeplassen 1.

• Light Rail

  If you are near the Light Rail station, take the Bybanen (Light Rail) towards Lagunen. Get off at the 'Bergen sentrum' stop. From there, exit the station and head towards the main square, Torgallmenningen. Walk straight across the square and take a left onto Vågsallmenningen, then turn right onto Bredgaten. Continue straight until you reach Domkirkeplassen, where Bergen Cathedral is located.

• Taxi

  If you prefer to take a taxi, you can easily find taxi services throughout Bergen. Simply tell the driver to take you to 'Domkirkeplassen 1' or 'Bergen Cathedral'. The ride will be short, and the driver will take you directly to the entrance of the cathedral.
