Walking
If you are starting from Bergen's Bryggen Wharf, head northeast along the harbor promenade. Keep the water to your left and walk towards the iconic wooden buildings of Bryggen. Continue straight until you reach the end of the wharf, then turn left onto Rasmus Meyers allé. Follow this street until you come to the intersection with Østre Skostredet. Turn right onto Østre Skostredet, which will lead you to the main street, Strandgaten. Turn left onto Strandgaten and continue until you reach the intersection with Nygårdsgaten. Turn right onto Nygårdsgaten and walk straight until you reach the next intersection with Strangehagen. Turn left onto Strangehagen, and after a short walk, you will find Old Bergen House at Strangehagen 8.
Public Transport
From Bergen's main bus station (Bergen Busstasjon), you can take the bus number 2 or 3 towards Flesland. Get off at the stop called 'Nygårdsparken'. From the bus stop, walk northeast towards Nygårdsgaten. Turn left onto Nygårdsgaten and walk straight until you reach the intersection with Strangehagen. Turn left onto Strangehagen, and after a short walk, you will arrive at Old Bergen House located at Strangehagen 8.
Walking
If you are at the Fløibanen Funicular station, walk down Fløien and head towards the city center. As you reach the bottom, turn left onto Vetrlidsallmenningen, which merges into Strandgaten. Follow Strandgaten until you reach the intersection with Nygårdsgaten. Turn right onto Nygårdsgaten and continue straight until you reach Strangehagen. Turn left onto Strangehagen, and Old Bergen House will be located on your left at Strangehagen 8.
