Stoltzekleiven: A Scenic Ascent in Bergen

Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in the city center of Bergen, start at the famous Fish Market (Fisketorget). From there, walk along the harbor front towards the north until you reach the intersection with Strandkaien. Turn left onto Strandkaien. Continue walking until you reach the junction with Øvre Ole Bulls plass. Here, turn right onto Olav Kyrres gate. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Stoltzekleiven. You will see signs directing you to Stoltzekleiven, which will be on your left. The walk will take approximately 15-20 minutes.

  From the city center, take bus number 3 from the bus stop at 'Bergen Busstasjon'. Make sure to check the destination on the bus, which should say 'Fyllingsdalen'. After about 10 minutes, get off at the stop named 'Stoltzekleiven'. From the bus stop, walk a few meters back in the direction of the bus to find the pathway leading to Stoltzekleiven. The total travel time should be around 20-25 minutes, including waiting time.
